Finally caught up with the backlog of Sacred Harp photos from Stapleford, Winnersh, Holmfirth and Newcastle!
My Easter weekend was spent in Newcastle and Gateshead where I went to hear Tim Eriksen play a gig.
Not a big photography weekend but a massive music weekend!
Tim Eriksen, Alasdair Roberts and Cath & Phil Tyler, live at The Sage, were all amazing. It was hearing Tim play in Glasgow that first introduced me to Sacred Harp so it was a thrill to hear him play again and to sing with him!
OK, I didn't sing with him on stage but at a singing school and house singing the following day!
Some photos of the singing school are in my Sacred Harp Singing 2012 Gallery.
I have also managed to upload some non-singing photos! Three pic's from London and three new landscape shots which were taken at The Hermitage near Dunkeld. This is a beautiful forest with a nice riverside walk to see the Black Linn Falls. I could easily spend all day there but I guess normal people could enjoy a good hour or two exploring.
My next adventures take me to Kegworth in the East Midlands and then to Drogheda in Ireland.
Plans are well underway for heading to Poland in September where I will be taking photographs at the very first Camp Fasola Europe! More about that in a future blog :-)
